14.5 Experience

Our goal when creating FourteenPointFive was to create a fun and simple way to compete in your golf competitions like the pros. Anyone who has gone on a golf trip knows how difficult it can be to set up the competition amongst the group. Don't worry! We've done this all for you to enjoy.

The Ryder Cup race to 14.5 points is known by nearly everyone across the golf community, so we wanted to bring that concept to the every day golfer. Regardless of your group size and number of rounds being played, we have created an easy to follow guide that allocates 28 total points up for grabs across the entire competition.

We provide the competition structure and you pick the rest - teams, games, matchups, courses and wagers.

After purchasing your Scoreboard and selecting the number of golfers and number of rounds of golf being played, the final step is to select games for each round:

  • There will always be 28 points available to win across the golf competition
  • In each round, the Scoring Matrix will clearly indicate how many matches will be played, how many points per match, and what format game should be played
  • Based on the format, select any game from the list of FourteenPointFive Golf Games
  • You are also welcome to play your own game and can use the Scoring Matrix to allocate points

After selecting your games, The Race to 14.5 points is officially on!

See the image below for an example Scoring Matrix that defines point allocations and game formats per round.
