Ordering Process

Step 1 - Group Details & Order

To order a Scoreboard, all you need is two simple inputs:

  1. How many golfers are on the trip?
  2. How many rounds of golf will be played in the competition?

After gathering these details, you are ready to order your Scoreboard!

After Ordering, you will get access to the FourteenPointFive customization webpage to personalize your Scoreboard. See below for details and examples.

Step 2 - Determine Golf Trip Scoring Method

You have two choices for scoring your golf competition:

  1. FourteenPointFive 28-point Ryder Cup style scoring
  2. Your own custom/personal scoring

FourteenPointFive 28-Point Ryder Cup Scoring

  • Competition consists of 28 total points, like the Ryder Cup
  • Round formats are pre-determined by FPF in the customizer (ex: 2v2 4v4, etc.)
  • Golf games can be selected in the FPF customizer (ex: Best Ball, Scramble, etc.)
  • All final round formats are singles matchups!
  • Every combination of trip players + rounds has a Scoring Matrix that details format and scoring allocation for each round
  • The first team to 14.5 Points wins!

Custom Scoring

  • Use your own scoring method - custom scoring allows for maximum game and format flexibility to fit your needs.
  • Select whatever format and games you want for each round and use the Scoreboard to track results and standings

Example: The Scoreboard shown here was a 16 man Ryder Cup playing 1 point per hole + 1 point front 9 + 1 point back 9 for a total of 320 points available...first team to 160.5 wins!

Step 3 - Scoreboard Customizations

After ordering, use the FourteenPointFive customization webpage to customize your Scoreboard for your trip. Click here to see a demo version of the customizer.

In the customizer you can select which scoring format you want to use:

  • FPF 28-Point Ryder Cup Scoring - round formats will be pre-populated for you and you can select which game to play each round. The final round is always singles, just like the Ryder Cup!
  • Custom Scoring - free text fields will apper for each round where you provide details about what game and format you want to play. Scoring is done by the group, you may choose to have 28 points available or any other amount!

Within both scoring formats, you are able to customize the entire Scoreboard or you can leave the entire Scoreboard empty and write details in during your trip using a FPF provided marker.
