Four Golf Buddies

We're four friends that absolutely love golf. Playing golf, talking golf, watching golf...we want it all.

We became obsessed with creating fun custom Scoreboards for our annual golf trips. We know there are many other's just like us out there, so we decided to start FourteenPointFive to share the fun we have with fellow golf enthusiasts.

There's nothing like a golf trip with friends, some fiery competition and a tangible Scoreboard to document the competition and bring us all together before and after every round.

What is FourteenPointFive?

Inspired by the Ryder Cup scoring format, FourteenPointFive is the first company to introduce fun, entertainment and structure into your golf trip competitions involving two teams and 6, 8, 10, 12 or 16 players. We provide a custom printed tri-fold Scoreboard to be the center of your experience, plus a 28-point scoring format tailored to your trip, a Player’s Guide booklet and an array of golf games to play.

Why the name FourteenPointFive?

When you think about the purest version of competitive team golf, one event stands above the rest - the Ryder Cup. USA vs Europe. Nearly 100 years of history. Rivalry, but in good spirit. Classic duels like the War on the Shore, the Miracle (or Meltdown 🙁) at Medinah and the Battle of Brookline. Heroes and villains are crowned depending on which side of the pond you’re on.

The Ryder Cup packs so much excitement, pressure and energy into each match that every shot feels like the difference between winning or losing. The thrill of the event is palpable. With only 28 precious points available, both teams are doing all they can to win every point and seize The Cup. So, how does a team ensure they leave the Ryder Cup with the trophy hoisted high above their heads? They must win FourteenPointFive points!
